Your Vehicle. Your Journey. Your Protection.
Never Forget.
Never Get Penalised.
Never Forget System (NFS) is being developed as an all-in-one driving companion that helps you stay ahead of vehicle deadlines, parking restrictions, road charges, penalty notices and unexpected journey disruptions. From remembering your MOT to finding suitable parking and planning smarter journeys, NFS aims to take the stress out of driving and vehicle ownership.

Why Never Forget System Exists
UK Driver Penalty & Administrative Traps
Most fines and escalated penalties happen because of forgetfulness, missed discount windows, or unupdated V5C address records.
Expired MOT Penalty
Up to £1,000
Driving without a valid test certificate can invalidate motor insurance. NFS provides advance 30, 14, and 3-day reminders.
Council PCN Escalation
£130 – £160
Missing the statutory 14-day 50% discount window doubles the payable charge. NFS tracks the exact discount cutoff.
ULEZ, CAZ & Dart Charge
Up to £180
Issued for missed daily zone or crossing fees. NFS separates pre-journey route checks from past-journey payment deadlines.
Old Address V5C Trap
Missed Notices
Updating your driving licence does NOT update your V5C logbook. Our Address Safety Net prevents notices going to an old home.
Original Purpose & Vision
A Comprehensive UK Driver Protection Platform
Never Forget System (NFS) was founded to help drivers avoid forgetting important legal and administrative obligations that lead to unnecessary fines, lost discounts, or escalated charges.
Built around a Smart Home Dashboard and one coordinated reminder engine, NFS monitors MOT and Road Tax deadlines, manual insurance renewals, active parking timers, minimum-effort PCN discount windows, ULEZ / Clean Air Zone / Dartford Crossing charges, and moving-house V5C address updates.
100% Privacy-First Architecture
Permission-first design: we never run silent, battery-draining background GPS tracking or assume you have parked without confirmation.
Comprehensive Driver Protection Platform
More than a simple reminder app—combining Smart Home prioritisation, My Garage, PCN & Charge protection, Address Safety Net, and Document Vault.
Minimum Driver Effort & Stress
Designed so NFS does the heavy lifting: clear next actions, no duplicate alerts across modules, and honest separation of verified vs. manual data.
How NFS Protects You
Coordinated Protection With Minimum User Effort
STEP 01
Add Your Vehicle in My Garage
Enter your UK registration (VRM) to retrieve permitted official DVLA MOT and Road Tax details, and record your insurance renewal date.
STEP 02
One Coordinated Reminder Engine
Receive advance MOT, tax, and insurance alerts, 10m/5m/1m parking countdowns, and 14-day PCN discount warnings—which stop automatically once resolved.
STEP 03
Track Genuine Protection Outcomes
NFS Impact records real deadlines met and genuinely resolved PCNs or road charges—with zero invented savings or exaggerated claims.
See How the NFS Mobile App Experience Protects You
Explore interactive concept mock-ups of the core screens being developed for the Never Forget System UK mobile app—designed to save time, reduce stress, and prevent avoidable penalties and delays.
Smart Home Dashboard
Prioritises urgent matters with one clear next action—staying quiet when everything is all-clear.
Why This Matters for Drivers
Prevents alert fatigue and duplicate warnings across features by surfacing only what requires attention today.

Complete Driver Protection Scope
Saving Time, Reducing Stress & Protecting Every Journey
Every capability is clearly classified as a core module in development/testing or a planned future phase.
Road Closure & Traffic Protection
Warns about planned and unexpected road closures, roadworks, accidents, diversions, and severe-weather disruptions with alternative routes to prevent avoidable delays.
Smart Parking Finder & Street Rules
Compares free parking and cheaper alternatives alongside permit zones, loading bays, time limits, no-return periods, and Blue Badge accessibility guidance.
Return to Vehicle & Finish My Journey

Low-Effort PCN & Fine Assistant
Simple notice capture that identifies key dates, notice-dependent discount windows (e.g., 14 or 21 days), escalation stages, and official payment or appeal links.
Address Safety Net (V5C vs. Licence)
Moving-house checklist reminding drivers that updating a driving licence does not update the V5C logbook—preventing missed notices at a previous address.
NFS Impact (Genuine Outcomes)
Tracks real deadlines met, resolved PCNs, and evidenced avoided costs using transparent rules—never inventing savings just because a reminder was sent.
Driving Licence, Documents & Records
Tracks 10-year photocard driving licence renewals, police/incident correspondence reminders (NIP/FPN/VDRS guidance), and stores MOT, insurance, and service receipts.
Family, Multi-Vehicle & Temporary Sharing
Supports multi-vehicle households, shared family management, business/fleet compliance dashboards, and time-limited protection access when lending a vehicle.
EV, Hybrid & Smarter Assistance
Planned indicative battery/fuel-use route planning, predictive maintenance alerts, voice-assisted interactions, and optional multichannel reminders.

Forgot to Plan Your Journey? NFS Still Has Your Back.
Many drivers travel without opening a journey planner first. With optional, permission-based journey protection enabled, NFS is being designed to cross-check your route against digital charging-zone maps and your registered vehicle’s eligibility—then ask simple confirmation questions so false alarms are avoided and real payment deadlines are never missed.

How NFS Confirms a Possible Charge Without False Warnings
Because phone movement alone does not prove which vehicle you used (you might be on a train, bus, or in a friend’s car), NFS asks two quick questions before scheduling any payment reminder:
1. Vehicle Confirmation Prompt
“We detected that your journey may have passed through the London Congestion / ULEZ area today. Were you travelling in your registered vehicle EF15 MNO?”
2. Payment & Exemption Check
“Based on your vehicle’s Euro 5 Diesel profile and charging hours, a zone charge may apply. Have you already paid?”

Know What Your Journey Could Cost Before You Leave.
NFS does not treat every vehicle the same. By starting from your registration number, NFS is designed to estimate total journey costs across fuel or EV electricity, ferry crossings, road charges, tolls, and destination parking—and compare the fastest route against cheaper or charge-avoiding alternatives.

Original Founding Feature · Address Safety Net
Moving House? Changing Your Driving Licence Does Not Update Your V5C Logbook
One of the earliest founding insights behind Never Forget System is a little-known UK administrative trap: updating your address on your photocard driving licence with the DVLA does not automatically update the registered keeper address on your vehicle’s V5C logbook.
Why This Matters to Every UK Motorist
Council Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), Notices of Intended Prosecution (NIPs), and road-charge enforcement letters are posted to the address on your V5C logbook. If your V5C still lists a previous address, you can miss the 14-day 50% discount window and face court or enforcement escalation without ever seeing the initial letter.
NFS Moving-House Address Safety Net Checklist
- 1
V5C Vehicle Logbook (DVLA Keeper Record)
Changing your driving licence address does NOT update your V5C logbook. Unupdated V5C records are a primary cause of missed NIPs, PCNs, and bailiff enforcement at previous addresses.
- 2
UK Photocard Driving Licence
Update your driver record with the DVLA promptly after moving house so official correspondence and licence renewals reach you on time.
- 3
Motor Insurance & Overnight Postcode
Notify your insurer of your new address and overnight parking arrangement so your policy cover remains valid.
- 4
Road Tax (VED) Direct Debit & Reminders
Confirm your vehicle tax renewal reminders and payment details match your current contact details.
- 5
Royal Mail Redirection & Follow-Up Check
Set up mail redirection as a temporary safety net and use NFS follow-up checks to confirm every official document has arrived at your new address.
